Tito visits Heirloom's pilot plant

Greetings from COP28 in Dubai!

Four weeks ago I was invited to the unveiling of the first commercial direct air capture facility in the US at Heirloom's plant in Tracy, California.

After the ceremony, I walked over to Shashank, the CEO of Heirloom and said "Congratulations!". He said “Thanks! Now we need 10,000 of these”.

Each step leads to the next one.

Standing in front of the Heirloom plant, I'm imagining what it will be like at the moment we hit 1 billion tons in 2030. Imagine what we now know we're capable of as a civilization. Imagine the sense of awe about what we can accomplish. And everything we discovered along the way.

I want to invite you to join me at the 2023 Carbys. It's your opportunity to share what you accomplished this year and get inspired by others. Bring a friend too!

And of course, Shashank from Heirloom is kicking off with opening remarks.

Register for the Carbys here. (I posted this on LinkedIn too.)

Tito

P.S. thanks to everyone that made introductions for me at COP28!
