2024: Let's fucking go

2023 was big.

Let's make 2024 so good that 2023 looks like a footnote.

We've got an AirMiners planning session coming up on January 5th, 2024.

Here’s some of the gaps in AirMiners that I'm bringing to the session:

• Inspire millions for carbon removal

  • 10 billion tons per year of carbon removal is needed for a stable planet and thriving human civilizations in 2050.

  • The larger climate discussion thinks decarbonization alone can get there.

  • What's the new story to inspire millions for carbon removal?

• Educate the next 10,000 leaders

  • Working on carbon removal today means creating a startup, working at a startup, or working on policy

  • I want to see every Boot Up grad empowered to lead: start companies, take jobs, create new events and experiences.

  • How do we have 10,000 people registered for Boot Up by the end of 2024? How about 100,000?

• Accelerate a megaton of removal

  • 54 startups on track to graduate from Launchpad in 2023.

  • I want to to see 100 more startups in 2024 with $200M of funding and a million tons of carbon dioxide removed. And AirMiners contributing $20M+ of that funding.

  • How do we close the critical funding gap for carbon removal startups?

I want to look back on this 365 days from now and say “damn, we achieved this and more”.
